Aimee Copeland is a 24 year old woman. She went on a trip to go kayaking with her friends, but that turned out to be a bad scary trip. Her and her friends decided to go on the homemade zip line. When Aimee went on the zip line the line snapped in half and she went down. When she fell she got a large gash in her left calf. When that happened she didn't know at the time but bacteria got in that open gash in her calf and now her leg is infected. At first the doctors didn't know about this and they just put about 12 staples in her calf and gave her pain medicine and sent her home. she returned the next day because of the pain so they just gave her stronger medicine, but after the third time she went to the ER room and they finally found that there are flesh eating bacteria eating away. Now she is doing better her dad says on his blog but she has very little chance of living and they need all the hep they can get. Their asking for anyone to donate money or blood for her but right now her organs are starting to fail and is now getting worse.
